Class Title: Hand-Stitched Meditation Scrolls
Class Objectives: Participants will learn some basic applique and embroidery techniques, to begin embellishing two meditation scrolls.
Class Description: In this special class, we will begin work on 2 “meditation scrolls”: strips of fabric wrapped around vintage wooden thread spools. We will begin by learning/reviewing a few basic techniques, and then we will spend the remainder of our time together mindfully and slowly stitching. The goal is not a finished product but rather a beginning to a project which will be slowly added to over time.
Duration: 2.5 hours
