Class Title: Stenciled Home Decor
Class Description: Join us for a beginner-friendly class where you will learn to stencil your own creative home decor!
Learn to stencil with high-quality acrylic paint onto canvas and/or wood to create unique home decor. By the end of the class, you will go home with a hand-painted/stenciled home decor sign (design of your choosing) that can be displayed on a shelf or on the wall.
Learning to create a crisp, clear imprint from a stencil requires a bit of practice and patience. Once the skill is quickly mastered, creating home decor that’s welcoming, cozy, and attractive…or sassy, funky, and fun!…is easy and gratifying.
This class will start with learning a basic stippling technique, discussing various items that can be stenciled, reviewing different paints that can be used, and demonstrating how to mix and match stencils to create something utterly unique. The remainder of the class will be your opportunity to choose a design and color scheme and then create your own home decor sign.
Wear a painting smock or work shirt that can get paint on it!
