Haywood County Arts Council is excited to announce our upcoming spring event, The Haywood Made. This community-driven event celebrates the talent and creativity of emerging local artisans, musicians, and performers while showcasing the importance of the rich Appalachian roots that have inspired so much of our mountain creativity. The Haywood Made will feature a variety of activities and events for all ages. The evening will kick off with a performance by the Maggie Valley Band, a local favorite known for their unique blend of bluegrass and indie rock. Guests will be able to watch and appreciate the beauty and grace of these young performers. During this community event, guests will have the opportunity to participate in line dancing lessons led by professional instructors from the American Ballroom Company dance studio.

 

In addition to live music and dancing, The Haywood Made will also feature a display of local youth art. This exhibit will showcase the creativity and talent of young artists in our community and inspire others to pursue their artistic passions. The evening will also include a silent auction featuring a variety of handmade goods and services generously donated by local businesses and artisans. All proceeds from the silent auction will go towards supporting the Haywood County Arts Council and its mission to promote the arts in our community. Haywood Made is an exciting event that celebrates the arts, music, and community in Haywood County.
