A native of Ireland and resident of Clyde, I started my career in the graphic arts and spent many years as a special effects Animator before returning to my first love, watercolor. Nature was my first inspiration and that has not waned. While living in California I began to paint the beautiful gardens and homes I saw on my walks and so I began specializing in portraits of homes. Today while I still illustrate ideas and create house portraits, I am inspired daily by the beauty of the mountains through the changing seasons and I am still as excited about painting in watercolor as I have ever been.
