Meet Rumi!

Currently pursuing puppetry and art facilitation.  I love working with groups!

On the art side, I’ve a passion for sculpture, working with paper, and performing.  I worked as a docent for many years in the African Art Smithsonian, giving tours to school groups. I have led mask-building and puppet-building workshops for kids and adults in DC and locally. I’m a certified Interplay leader (group improv movement, storytelling, and singing), a musician and songwriter for puppets, and have 20+ years working with adults and juniors as a tennis teaching pro.

I love facilitating group art challenges!

Thank You to Our Kid's Art Club Host & Sponsor, Harmony Haus!
