We have three major events for sponsorships in 2025, The Quilt Block Bus Tour during the Appalachian True Heritage Festival, May 2 & 3, The Haywood County Studio Tour, September 20 & 21, and The Smoky Mountains Bluegrass Festival, October 25.

Smoky Mountains Bluegrass Festival
Wanda Ann Kinnaman, Studio Tour

Our events are about bringing community members and visitors together to celebrate the arts in all its forms and the many unique places of Haywood County. Your sponsorship helps spread the word far and wide so people can join into these creative experiences, make memories, and preserve the Appalachian craft traditions of Western North Carolina.

Appalachian Heritage Weekend, May 2-3:This community-driven event celebrates the talent and creativity of emerging local artisans, musicians, and performers while showcasing the importance of the rich Appalachian roots that have inspired so much of our mountain creativity.

The Haywood County Studio Tour, September 20 & 21: The Haywood County Studio Tour is a two-day self-guided tour where hundreds of visitors are invited into artists’ studios to meet the artists, view demonstrations, and buy art. Studios are sprinkled throughout all of Haywood County bringing visitors to diverse locales both urban and rural.

Smoky Mountains Bluegrass Festival, October 25: Held at the beautiful Maggie Valley Festival Grounds at the peak of leaf season. Our annual fundraiser, the festival brings all the Haywood County Arts Council’s programs and artists together for a truly one-of-a-kind music-themed experience. The festival includes award-winning bluegrass bands, music-themed vendors, raffles, artist member demonstrations and artwork, a child and adult playground, and local drinks and food.
