It’s the mix of control and unpredictability in tie-dye that makes it so fun to create. I enjoy the balance between making intentional choices—like the colors and folds—and then letting go to see what happens. Every piece is different, and that unpredictability keeps it fun and creative for me. Tie-dye reminds me that imperfection can be beautiful. What means the most to me, though, is seeing people wear my work and enjoy it—knowing something I made brings someone else joy.
