After last year’s heartbreaking cancellation due to Tropical Storm Helene, the Smoky Mountains Bluegrass Festival will return for a fourth year from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds.
“We are so grateful for the community support that makes this festival possible, especially after last year’s challenges,” said Tonya Harwood, Executive Director of the Haywood County Arts Council. “This event is about more than music — it’s a celebration of resilience, creativity, and the Appalachian spirit that connects us.”
A stellar lineup of performers
• 11 a.m. — Storyteller Michael Reno Harrell
• 3 p.m. — John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band (J2B2)
• 5 p.m. — Balsam Range
In addition to the music, local vendors will showcase handmade art, while food trucks serve up regional favorites. Guests can enjoy outdoor games like cornhole, croquet and oversized checkers, and children can explore art stations and puppetry activities.
A special thank you to sponsors: North Carolina Arts Council, MAST general store, Duke Energy, Organic Mechanic, Route 19 Inn, Best Western, High Country Furniture.
Tickets are $65, free for age 12 and younger. Visit haywoodarts.org/smoky-mountains-bluegrass-festival.
