Nina Howard has been called a Renaissance Woman by her peers and friends and has painted hundreds of paintings since her art career began in New York City, after graduating top of her class in Interior Design from Fashion Institute of Technology. In 1982 she received her first commission for Merrill Lynch’s offices in Manhattan and has continued for 36 years to produce commissioned pieces while pursuing other interests in interior design, the spa business and the healing arts. She says her abstract paintings connect her to the DIVINE and are done when she “gets out of the way” and allows spirit to flow through her.
Nina has been represented by many fine galleries throughout the South and New York, including Novus & Ann Jacob Gallery, Atlanta; Maralyn Wilson Gallery, Birmingham, Al; and Primrose Gallery, New York. She is in many fine corporate, institutional, and personal collections throughout the world.
