Mollie Harrington-Weaver

I’ve been doing art from the time I could sit at a little desk. At age three I would wake in the morning and do my “drawings”.   My life took many turns away from art including medical school to be a pediatrician which I have practiced part-time while raising three daughters. I’m also the guardian for my Down Syndrome brother who lives with the ARC of Haywood County.

I am ready now to do my “drawings “ again. Animals in particular bring me joy to find their “soul” in the paint. The colors and beauty that surround us also provide endless inspiration. I couldn’t do anything I do without the support of my fabulous life partner Jim and our dear girls.
