I’m originally from Brevard, NC, but moved to Waynesville this summer. I am mostly self-taught but give credit to my aunt and grandpa for instilling in me a love of painting at a young age. I started devoting a lot of my time to it in the last year. I like to explore different styles and mediums, but I mostly work with acrylic in a painterly-realistic style. My preference is portraiture, and I love to paint my friends and family! My favorite part of painting is mixing the colors and experimenting with different palettes. I love acrylic because I can paint multiple layers in a short amount of time, but I definitely still take my time with each project.
