I call the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina my forever home.

I am originally from Western New York via many years in south Florida.

I am inspired by color, textures, nature, facial expressions of human and animal muses.

My favorite mediums are clay and mixed media paintings.

Clay is an amazing medium to create in . To take a ball of clay and transform it into a vase or a sculpture will always intrigue me.

The possibilities are endless.

I really enjoy working with several artistic materials when I am painting whether the subject matter is a portrait, figurative or a landscape.

I simply love when a painting comes together effortlessly, almost like it is guiding me through the process of its creation
