This is a studio tour, therefore each venue hosting an artist or multiple artists must have a working studio at the address. Venues hosting multiple artists are called Cluster Studios. These allow for artists with inaccessible studios to take part in the Tour.
The 2016 Studio Tour has been organized by a dedicated group of Haywood County artists. Participants work in diverse media, including clay, fiber, wood, jewelry, glass, mixed-media, sculpture, and two-dimensional applications. The Arts Council’s Haywood Art Studio Tour Show complements the full tour, offering visitors a generous taste of what they’ll experience in late October and help them choose which studios they would like to visit.
All are invited to attend the opening reception of the Haywood Art Studio Tour Show at Art After Dark, October 7, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Come enjoy fine food and beautiful art at the Haywood County Arts Council’s Gallery and Gifts, 86 N. Mail Street. The Haywood Art Studio Tour Show will run from October 7 – 30.
