Currently a guitar teacher at Yale University, Powis has studied

the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Powis studied with
Raffaele Agostino.  Shortly after, Powis studied with Michael
Lewin and Timothy Walker   at the Royal Academy of Music in
London.

After accepting an invitation to participate in a residency at the

In addition to his stellar credentials, Powis is a truly generous

instrument and play a sampling of his music.
