For reasons best known to them alone, the Blue Ridge Mountains have become the summer nesting sanctuary for many neo-tropical varieties, as well as for those that are here year-round. Join us as we stroll through the orchards, around the lakes and over the mountains to watch and listen for them. You don't want to miss this unique guided tour to see birds that thousands of people flock to WNC to see every year. After experiencing these natural wonders, a gourmet boxed lunch will be provided by the Patio Bistro. In mystical tradition we welcome the seven “ushpizin” - Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, and David – into our sukkot. The familiar four walls fall away as we dine outside in our temporary festive structures. Special Directions: Take Summit Drive, left from Highway 19, one mile up the mountain.
