During 2007-2008, the Haywood County Art Council, the Tryon Fine Arts Center and the Art Council of Henderson County will participate in the Regional Artists Project Grant (RAPG) program. The RAPG support professional artists in any discipline and at any stage in their careers to pursue projects that further their artistic development. Artists residing in Haywood, Henderson and Polk Counties are eligible to apply.
Types of projects which may be considered for funding include:
Creation of new work Purchase of Equipment Professional Development Workshops Traveling expenses associated with a professional opportunity such as participating in an exhibition or a conference Development or upgrading of professional materials such as brochures, video tapes, compact discs or slides
Funds for this program are limited and are awarded through a competitive grant process.
